
FERMAID ® K+ is a blended complex yeast nutrient suitable for use in the alcoholic fermentation of grape must, fruit mashes or cereal mashes. Developed by Clayton Cone from Lallemand, proper use of FERMAID ® K+ reduces the occurrence of sluggish and stuck fermentations.
Fermaid K+ is a complete nutrient blend to provide yeast with the correct nutrient balance for growth in beverage alcohol fermentations. It contains a proprietary blend of inorganic nitrogen (diammonium phosphate), organic nitrogen and key vitamins and minerals including thiamine, niacin, folic acid, magnesium sulphate and calcium pantothenate. Fermaid K+ also provides sterols and unsaturated fatty acids, which lend alcohol resistance to the yeast.
