Coolflow DTX has been especially formulated for use in Process Cooling, Refrigeration and HVAC systems to exploit the advantages Ethylene Glycol has over Propylene Glycol – whilst delivering a non toxic solution.
DTX is a food safe, performance enhancing hybridised glycol, significantly more energy efficient than propylene glycol. DTX delivers the increased thermodynamic and hydrodynamic performance benefits of Ethylene Glycol (EG) based cooling fluids, whilst providing the low-toxicity credentials of Propylene Glycol (PG) based cooling fluids.
Converting a PG based cooling system to DTX is proven to increase COP by >10% while reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions by a similar amount.
Coolflow DTX™ is now the go-to sub-zero cooling fluid for many blue-chip breweries, distilleries, cideries and wineries. Many new-build food & beverage operations are designed around the use of Coolflow DTX™ which facilitates the use of smaller chillers, pumps, pipework etc, to generate the same cooling capacity – significantly reducing Capex.
